New Clients

Our skilled and highly experienced team at Family Pet Medical Clinic is trained in all of the most critical, current, and sophisticated techniques to care for your cherished pets. If you’re thinking about bringing your pet to Family Pet Medical Clinic, we’d want to extend a warm welcome and let you know that we’re excited to get to know you and your pets. From the moment you step through the door, you’ll feel like a member of the family.

At Family Pet Medical Clinic, we believe that it’s our job to treat your pets with as much attention and care as you do, paired with an unmatched level of expertise in veterinary care and medicine. With that in mind, we have a set of procedures in place to ensure that we know everything we need to know about your pet when you visit for the very first time.

We’ll ask you to fill out a New Client form on behalf of your pet either before your first visit online or when you arrive for your first session. This form allows us to gather basic information about your pet, such as its breed (if known), medical history, and other pertinent details. Before the initial examination, we can use this as a starting point. Bring any medical documents from your pet’s past, such as medical records, immunization documentation, and anything else that will help our veterinary staff understand where your pet is in its health journey to the first consultation.

We’ll do a nose-to-tail checkup on your pet’s initial appointment to gain a thorough picture of his or her health. We hope that this is the start of a long and fruitful relationship between us, you, and your pet, one that includes annual check-ups and any necessary care that arises along the way.

We strive to be there for you and your pet at every stage of their lives, from puppy or kitten to senior pet, and all in between.

Appointment Cancellation

When you make an appointment, we reserve a spot in our calendar for you, making it unavailable to other patients. To guarantee your appointment time, you must be able to arrive within the first 10 minutes of your scheduled appointment or you will be required to wait, drop off your pet, or reschedule your appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us no later than 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
