International and Interstate Health Certificates2

NEED A PET HEALTH CERTIFICATE TO TRAVEL?

A health certificate is a federal document issued by a veterinarian who is nationally accredited. A certificate verifies that a pet has met specific health requirements. Domestic health certificates are used for interstate travel inside the United States (typically by air) and international health certificates are used for international travel. Both categories have strict guidelines that vets are unable to deviate from.

Please include the following details while contacting us:

  • The kind of animal that will be accompanying you on your journey
  • The destination country and the requirements for your pet to visit there
  • The date on which you will leave the United States.
  • Whether your pet is flying alone, as cargo, or with a passenger in the plane’s cabin
